9 Spooky Disney Animated Shorts Perfect for Halloween Time

Halloween comes to Disneyland this weekend! While this year I’m lucky enough to be able to visit the parks during Halloween season, usually I can’t. Therefore, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Disney and Pixar Spooky Shorts to celebrate the holiday with a bit of Disney flair!

Below are 9 articles featuring Spooky Shorts that I love! There is no particular order to them because they are all really fantastic!

  • Lonesome Ghosts-I know I said there was no order to this list but I had to start with my all time favorite. Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and ghosts, what’s not to love?! lonesome ghosts
  • Trick or Treat– Not only is this short Halloween themed but it has one of my favorite characters (Witch Hazel) and is my favorite Donald Duck cartoon of all time! trick or treat
  • The Old Mill– The Old Mill isn’t Halloween themed per say, but it is spooky in its own way. The Old Mill
  • Mater and The Ghostlight-Released in 2006 as a bonus feature on the Cars Blu-ray/DVD, this short is a fun Pixar addition to the spooky shorts! Mater and the Ghostlight
  • The Haunted House– The Haunted House, released in 1929, features none other than Mickey Mouse himself. The Haunted House
  • Donald’s Halloween Scare– This short was released in 2000 and is one of the more recent additions to this list. Donald's Halloween Scare
