Legacy GEEKS? – GEEKS CORNER – Episode 1133 (#556)

Welcome to a very full episode of GEEKS CORNER! This week, there is a lot of ground to cover as there was a lot happening in the world of Disney and geek! Mr. DAPs and Caitie get right to it starting off with the news of today that Orange County moved into the Yellow Tier. This opens up the possibility for more capacity at the Disneyland Resort, and more reservations opened up today as well. This comes as Disneyland also streamlined its ticketing and reservation system.

Over at Walt Disney World Resort, face covering restrictions were relaxed and more reservations opened after the CDC issued new guidelines. Was it too quick? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Back at Disneyland, on an earnings call last week Disney CEO Bob Chapek hinted that the future for Legacy Passholders might be more of a loyalty program and not tied to legacy. The geeks discuss this.

Finally, there are some new food offerings coming to the Disneyland Resort. This is specifically in Avengers Campus and also at the Alfresco Tasting Terrace for Legacy Passholders. The geeks talk about these various menu offerings and what they are most excited about. Share what you are most excited about in the comments below as well!

We hope you enjoy this week’s show and we look forward to geeking out with you every Tuesday night at 9:30! We’ll see you in the corner!
