Halloween Screams is currently lighting up the night at Disneyland. The show runs with and without fireworks throughout Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. When the holiday celebrations begin in mid-November, Believe… In Holiday Magic will return to light up the night. For many Disneyland Resort fans, the question has been: What will run between these two holidays? The answer has appeared on the Disneyland website and it is Mickey’s Mix Magic.
Mickey’s Mix Magic debuted at the Disneyland Resort in 2019 as part of the Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration. This was in celebration of Mickey and Minnie’s 90th birthdays. This nighttime spectacular leaned heavily into projections and also has a very different style than is traditionally found in Disneyland nighttime spectaculars. It turns Disneyland into a big dance party that is upbeat and has “DJ Mickey” spinning remixed Disney tracks. These songs include:
- “It’s a Good Time”
- “I Wanna Be Like You”
- “Ev’rybody Wants To Be A Cat”
- “Friend Like Me”
- “Grim Grinning Ghosts”
- “Un Poco Loco”
- “Let It Go”
- “It’s a Good Time” (Finale)
Projections and lasers for Mickey’s Mix Magic can be seen on the facades of Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, and it’s a small world. The projections and light/laser effects will be presented nightly, and fireworks will be added on select nights.
