Reservations Open Up for Disney Park Pass at Walt Disney World as Capacity Increases

Yesterday Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced that capacity would be increased at the Walt Disney World Resort. Today, capacity is increasing. Disney guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort reservation calendar page today could watch as reservation availability increased. Currently, there are now more dates open starting this month and they continue forward. Currently, a Disney Park Pass reservation is required along with valid admission for any guest wanting to visit a theme park at Walt Disney World Resort.

The additional capacity comes one day after Disney CEO Bob Chapek shared on an earnings call that Disney would be expanding capacity. He also shared that recent updates by the CDC regarding face coverings were being looked at by Disney and that policies could change very soon. Disney is also updating its physical distancing policies currently as part of its continued phased reopening. This comes after Disney was forced to close all of its theme parks last year due to the global pandemic.
