A Global Week – DISNEY Reporter

Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! This week there is a lot of Disney news from around the globe and covers many of the Disney theme parks. The week starts off with the announcement that Disneyland has a proposed reopening date. It continues with news regarding the reopening of the hotels at Disney Resorts.

Going global, Shanghai Disneyland has gone vertical for the first time for its new Zootopia themed land. At Disneyland Paris, the Disneyland Paris Run Weekend 5th Edition has been postponed for a year. It will now take place in the fall of 2021.

Back in the United States, the Walt Disney Archives is celebrating its 50th anniversary. One way it is celebrating is with a new documentary by Don Hahn called Adventure Thru the Walt Disney Archives. It also has an exhibit at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California that will soon be reopening when the museum reopens after closing for COVID-19.
