New Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Statues Arrive As Castle Fountains Turn On at Disneyland for Disney100

New Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse statutes has arrived ahead of the official start of the Disney100 celebration at Disneyland. New fountains around Sleeping Beauty Castle also have been turned on. The celebration begins on January 27, 2023 and commemorates the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. Throughout the Disneyland Resort, Disney100 decorations have been going up over the last week.

The statue is found in Town Square on Main Street, USA at the location commonly referred to as Christmas tree point. It shows Mickey Mouse striking a pose on a base with a banner saying “it all started with a mouse.” The statue is surrounded by a circular garden.

Minnie Mouse’s status is found up in the Hub near Pixie Hollow. It is found in a garden shaped like a heart. This pedestal has a banner that says “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.”

Sleeping Beauty Castle has also been decorated for Disney100. Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather can be seen on the castle helping add an extra dose of magic to the celebration. Fountains on either side of the drawbridge in the moat are now adding an extra element of beauty to the area. These additional elements could be seen on concept art that was released earlier showing how the castle would be decorated.

Along with these new magical elements, the Disney100 celebration at Disneyland Resort will include new nighttime spectaculars and other fun offerings. This includes Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland, World of Color – ONE at Disney California Adventure, the opening of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, food, merchandise, and more!
