Walls have gone up around two more of the remaining ticket booths on the Esplanade at the Disneyland Resort. This comes before they are demolished as part of the eastern gateway project. This will ultimately see a new parking and transportation hub found across Harbor Boulevard, with a bridge that will allow guests to enter the Happiest Place on Earth. As work continues on this project, security is being moved to accommodate the changes. Ultimately, new security checkpoints will be found in the new parking structure and for guests entering from Harbor Boulevard.
On Wednesday morning, Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by the Disneyland Resort and found that walls had gone up around ticket booths in the southeast corner of the Esplanade. These are the last two ticket booths on the east side of the Esplanade. When they are demolished, there will be two ticket booths remaining on the northwest end of the Esplanade. As work continues on this project, the Disneyland Resort recently revealed updates to the security, rideshare, and bus drop-off procedures. This will just be one chapter in the story of this construction project and ultimately the story of the Disneyland Resort. All of this is a part of DisneylandForward.
What do you think about this update in the process of this construction? Are you excited about the new arrival process from the east side of the Disneyland Resort? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
