Another ticket booth has been demolished in the Esplanade between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. This booth was on the east side of the Esplanade and is the third of four that once greeted guests when they made their way to The Happiest Place on Earth from Harbor Boulevard. The remaining booth will also be removed as the Disneyland Resort reimagined the arrival process from the east side of the resort.
Along with the removal of this ticket booth, the beginnings of what will be a new security checkpoint can be seen starting to rise from behind nearby walls. Much like the Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon location in Downtown Disney District, supports can be seen rising over the walls for where this security location will be located. This will replace the current security checkpoint area and create more space for the construction of a new entrance to the Disneyland Resort. The Daps Magic team stopped by the Disneyland Resort on Sunday and took the following photos of both of these projects.

The changes that are currently happening in the Esplanade are part of a much bigger change to the arrival process for the Disneyland Resort from the east side. This will include a new parking structure and transportation hub. Guests will be able to park/be dropped off, go through security, and then walk across a bridge over Harbor Boulevard that will deliver them to the Esplanade. Concept art of this new bridge arrival can be seen here:
