An Entertaining Holiday Season – DISNEY Reporter

Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! Each week the top five stories of the week’s Disney and geek news are shared. During this busy time of year, there is no shortage of stories to share.

First off, there is a lot of entertainment returning to the Disneyland Resort in 2022. This week it was announced that Fantasmic!, World of Color, Disneyland Forever, and other shows will be soon returning to the happiest place on Earth! In other entertainment news, Walt Disney Animation Studios gave a first look at its new film Strange World.

This week it was announced that Geoff Morrell will be joining Disney’s executive team as the new Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. He will be covering several different areas within a restructured Disney. Outgoing Executive Chairman Bob Iger returned to his roots this week as he shared the news on local Los Angeles station KABC. This was the first time he had shared the news in 48 years since doing it at the beginning of his career.

Finally, All That Glitters: The Crown Jewels of the Walt Disney Archives has arrived at the Bowers Museum. This exhibit showcases many treasures from the archives that range from costume pieces and accessories to crowns.
