It’s Time to Celebrate! – DISNEY Reporter

Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! Each week Mr. DAPs shares the top five Disney and geek headlines as covered by DAPS MAGIC. This week there is a lot to celebrate!

First off, runDisney is returning to in person events! It was announced that the first in person event will be held later this year at Walt Disney World Resort. RunDisney fans were ecstatic to hear this news. Were you?

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is getting updated. It was announced this week that a new scene is being added from the Disney and Pixar film Coco. What do you think of this addition?

Fireworks are returning to domestic Disney Parks! This week saw Happily Ever After return to the skies above Magic Kingdom. EPCOT Forever returned to the World Showcase Lagoon over EPCOT. On July 4th, Mickey’s Mix Magic returns to the skies above Disneyland. Which one are you most excited about?

Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary celebration begins on October 1, 2021. With that date getting closer and closer, many announcements have been made about The World’s Most Magical Celebration. This includes new nighttime spectaculars, magical moments, cavalcades, and more! Check them out on DAPS MAGIC’s Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary page.

Finally, this year’s 4th of July celebration on PBS will be even more magical. Kermit the Frog will be appearing on A Capitol Fourth this year. He will be joining multiple other celebrities, some of them even from the Disney family. Will you be tuning in?
