While people around the world stay home, Disney is doing everything they can to make magic. Whether it be bringing the magic home through Disney+ or the Dapper Dans, The Walt Disney Company has been working around the clock! Today, Walt Disney Imagineering brought guests inside the Glendale building on an unprecedented virtual tour!
Part one of this tour starts in the lobby at Walt Disney Imagineering, where we get a brief history of how Walt Disney started the company. We get a peek into the magic made around the world and look into a timeline of the creations that have come from Imagineers.
After the history of Imagineering, we are taken through the monorail hallway which takes us “all around the Disney world!” This special hallway is inspired by the Mark VI monorails that live at Walt Disney World Resort and transport guests all around the resort on different lines. When Imagineers walk through this hallway, they are reminded of all the projects that have come before and all the magic that is yet to come to the resorts around the world!
