In the last few weeks, Walt Disney Imagineering has opened up its doors to the Glendale campus! This tour has taken us everywhere from the entrance, to the DISH, and now into the art library! This final stop on the tour is certainly not one to miss and there are even some fun easter eggs!
Inside the library, we get to see some pretty fantastic concept art from the history of the Walt Disney Company. In this video, we get to meet curators Mike Jusko, Denise Brown, and Vanessa Hunt as they take us through some of the highlights of the library. As they say in the video, everywhere you look around the Walt Disney Company you see the effects of the art they care for! Whether you are looking at theme parks as a whole or pieces of merchandise, they keep all the art safe!
My favorite part of this video is what is happening in the background! Our pal Figment is tagging along with our curators as they give us a tour of the Walt Disney Imagineering Art Library. It is no secret around here that I happen to love that sweet purple dragon, so it was fun to see him taking part in the tour!
