‘Fire of the Rising Moons’ Lights Up the Night at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

After winds led to the cancellation of fireworks on Friday night, Fire of the Rising Moons lit up the night for guests in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland on Saturday, April 6, 2024. The show brings iconic Star Wars music to accompanying the fireworks above Black Spire Outpost.

The fireworks show includes the incredible musical scores of John Williams as the colorful bursts light up the night over Batuu. Initally announced for Season of the Force at Disneyland, Michael Serna from Disney Live Entertainment shared with members of the media at a press event on Friday that Fire of the Rising Moons is a permanent addition and will continue on after the end the celebration ends. It will change as fireworks shows inside the rest of the park change.

Daps Magic was on hand to film the first official night of Fire of the Rising Moons, with a beautiful view of the Millennium Falcon. Below is a look at the nighttime spectacular as seen from the area in front of Docking Bay 7.

Fire of the Rising Moons is just one of many Star Wars offerings for guests to enjoy during Season of the Force at Disneyland.
