Dates for Returning and New Entertainment at Magic Kingdom Announced including the Festival of Fantasy Parade

Disney via the Parks Blog has announced the dates for the returning and new entertainment for Magic Kingdom. First will be the new Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade on February 11. This will be the small parade filled with Disney characters. Among them will be Moana, Baloo, Louie, Nick and Judy from Zootopia, and making his Magic Kingdom debut will be Miguel from Coco. Included in this cavalcade will be Merida, José Carioca and Panchito from other cavalcades, along with the Incredibles who have often appeared at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios cavalcades.

Next up is Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire, which is part-return and part-new. It will be in place of Mickey’s Friendship Faire, which is the show on the Castle Forecourt Stage. The show will have scenes incorporating Frozen, Tangled, and The Princess and the Frog. It will feature a new finale with Mickey in the gang in EARidescent costume. A new song, “Where the Magic Feels Like Home,” will be incorporated in as well. The show will have its premier on February 25.

Last, but not least, is the long awaited return of the Festival of Fantasy parade! It will come back on March 9 which is also the anniversary of its debut! All the floats will make its return including the fire-breathing Maleficent.

It won’t be the last that we hear of returning entertainment as the end of the blog announcement did point out that Fantasmic! will have a debut later on this year. So, stay tuned and what do you think of these returning and new entertainment offerings?
