The Walt Disney World Resort will begin this year’s celebration of fall and Halloween on September 15th and it will continue on through the 31st of October. Recently, some of the details about this autumnal celebration were announced. Today, more details about the entertainment that will be offered were shared by Disney.
Magic Kingdom
At the Magic Kingdom there will be Halloween cavalcades along the parade route throughout the day. Mickey and the gang will be dressed up in their Halloween costumes. On select days, there will also be a cavalcade of Disney villains that could include Gaston and Maleficent or the Queen of Hearts and Jafar. There could even be seen a cavalcade with Jack Skellington!
Cavalcades won’t be the only entertainment to be found at the Magic Kingdom, however. The Dapper Dans will be returning to the Magic Kingdom on September 20th as their alter egos the Cadaver Dans.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also be offering some monstrous fun. Hollywood & Vine will be offering Minnie’s Halloween Dine starting on September 25th. As guests enjoy their Halloween feast, they will see some of their favorite Disney characters visiting the restaurant. This will include Minnie Mouse dressed as a happy witch, Goofy as a spooky cowboy, Mickey Mouse as a funny vampire, and Pluto will also don a Halloween collar.
This year Halloween is quite a bit different than previous years. However, there will still be some Disney magic to enjoyed as Walt Disney World Resort continues with its phased reopening. Remember, to visit the parks, guests will need to utilize the Disney Park Pass reservation system.
