Disney Skyliner

Disney Shares a Look at What the Walt Disney World Resort’s Disney Skyliner Will Be Like

Disney has released a new look at what the gondola’s coming to the Walt Disney World Resort will be like. The new look of the Disney Skyliner comes in the form of a quick video. They describe some details about the gondolas. When they open, they will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot with four Disney resorts. This includes Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort along with the proposed 15th Disney Vacation Club property, Disney’s Riviera Resort.

Work is continuing on this new Walt Disney World Resort transportation system. The Disney Skyliner system continues to sprout up throughout Walt Disney World. Support towers can be seen throughout the resort along with the stations. While not complete, expect progress to continue to move forward in the coming months. This includes the cables that will be stringing the various towers and stations together. Then at some point the Disney themed gondolas will arrive.

What do you think of these new details about the Disney Skyliner? Are you excited for it to arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

  1. I wonder how safe these will be during a hurricane or during lightning? I imagine that we will be very hot during the Orlando summers. The rumors say that there is no AC in the gondolas!
