A walkway has reopened between Cars Land and Avengers Campus after being closed for over a year. With the walkway’s reopening, a new restroom is now available on the Cars Land side of the path. This change comes as Avengers Campus is undergoing an expansion that will ultimately add two attractions to the land. Disney Imagineer Brent Strong and Marvel head Kevin Feige recently shared a look at what fans can expect when this expansion is complete.
The newly reopened walkway has been highly anticipated by regulars at the Disneyland Resort. This walkway creates an easier way to traverse around the park. It also continues the stories of each land in a way that blends wonderfully. Friends of Daps Magic, Mike and Matt, took the following video and photos of this transitional walkway between the two lands. Take a look below!

One fun detail that was noticed by Matt is that the restroom building’s story includes a sign that says “Pop n Patch — Tire Repair — No Spare, No Problem!” This seems quite appropriate as the closest attraction is Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters at the Casa Della Tires’ storage yard. It is a lovely little nod that continues the story of the land, and more specifically, the story of this corner of the land. The restroom itself is the “Take-a-Brake” rest stop.
The reopening of this walkway and rest stop comes a day after a new plaque was unveiled at the main entrance to Avengers Campus. This plaque was dedicated to Jack Kirby. It was revealed on what would have been his 109th birthday. Kirby helped create many favorite characters like Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Fantastic Four, and Black Panther.
