Changes continue to happen in Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus. This comes as construction continues to work on the expansion of the campus that will ultimately add two new attractions to the land. More details about these attractions were recently revealed at Horizons: A Carousel of Progress at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

Guests visiting Avengers Campus today were treated to some changes beyond just more construction. A new banner could be found up on the new structure with Stark Industries emblazoned on it. This continues the story of the area that this area was once a Stark Industries car factory in the 1940s and a Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR)complex that was established by Howard Stark, the father of Tony Stark. Tony Stark has since turned it into the Avengers Campus (Centralized Assembly Mobilized to Prepare, Unite, and Safeguard). Along with the new banner, walls that surround the construction area have been pushed back. This comes ahead of the reopening of a walkway between Avengers Campus and Cars Land. When it opens, new themed restrooms will also be revealed. The new restrooms have been under construction for quite some time and could open any day.

Friend of Daps Magic, Spencer, walked through Avengers Campus today and took the following photos of the progress. This shows the new Stark Industries banner, the walls being pushed back that create space for the reopening of the walkway, and the return of the Asgardian “bench” where Thor once demonstrated his hammer with guests.
