Main Street USA at Disneyland

Walls and Scrims Come Down Around Buildings on Main Street, USA at Disneyland

For quite some time this spring, there have been walls and scrims surrounding the buildings on the Northwest end of Main Street, USA. These have, for the most part, hidden refurbishment work that has been happening on the block. There were a couple of times when the scrims were lowered due to high winds. This revealed some interesting details from the past on Main Street, USA, including an incredibly old sign. Now, the scrims and walls have been removed. With the removal, the beautiful work that was done during the refurbishment was revealed. The details of Main Street, USA look better than ever on this block.

Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by Disneyland this week after the refurbishment concluded. He took the following photos of the newly refurbished buildings. Check out his photos below so you can see how great Main Street, USA looks now!

As can be seen in the photos above, each of these shops looks better than ever. With the addition of the patriotic bunting ahead of the 4th of July, everything looks even better! This is especially appropriate ahead of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. Disney is a part of the celebration with its Disney Celebrates America. This initiative has seen quite a few special events throughout the year, the arrival of Soarin’ Across America, and a special 24-hour broadcast for the 4th of July.

What do you think of the recently revealed Main Street, USA? What is your favorite thing you are seeing in this renovation? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
