The Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters are scheduled to reopen on Friday, June 12, 2026. Ahead of the reopening, the scrims have come down from around the attraction. While walls are still up, they will soon be gone as well. The reveal shows a newly painted facade, giving the attraction a new look. While it previously was more themed to the colors of Buzz Lightyear. The new paint scheme seems to lean toward a more consistent color scheme with Space Mountain. This brings a more retro-futuristic feel to the area.
