There are so many exciting things happening at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge now! Recently, the timeline was expanded. With this came new characters, shops, props, merchandise, and even classic John Williams Star Wars music. BDX Droids have also made a very welcome return to Batuu. With the release of The Mandalorian and Grogu, new updates have arrived for guests experiencing Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. With all that is going on at Black Spire Outpost, it would be very easy to overlook the new food and merchandise offerings that can be found in the land. This would be a mistake, though.
Recently, the Disneyland Resort hosted a media event to give a look at the exciting offerings that can be found this summer at The Happiest Place on Earth! This includes Kids Rule Summer offering and tickets, Bluey’s Best Day Ever!, and a whole lot more! It also included a look at the food and merchandise that can be found in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Movie-Inspired Eats at Docking Bay 7
All new food offerings officially launch on Friday, May 22, 2026:
- The Bounty Bun: A unique specialty dish inspired directly by an item you will see on screen in the new movie. It features a spiced pork and beef patty (blended with sweet and hearty cardamom and cloves), sautéed blue onions, turmeric garlic aioli, and yellow tomato chutney on a ciabatta bun.
- Tip-Yair & Cheesy Udon Noodles: A fun spin on a classic. The Youngling version features cheesy udon noodles with fried tip-yair. The kicked-up adult version adds pancetta, breadcrumbs, and a customizable, “serve-yourself” vial of genuine, highly spicy ghost pepper sauce.
- Surat Valley Greens Salad: A light, crisp, and refreshing option for a hot day on Batuu, mixing kale and Romaine lettuce with a light cilantro vinaigrette, peppers, olives, and herb-marinated chicken.
- Grogu Pineapple Cookies: Vibrant blue sugar cookies that Grogu himself can be seen munching on in the film. They feature a sweet, light, and crisp pineapple flavor that Dole Whip fans will love.
Highly Anticipated Novelty Popcorn Buckets
- Fully Poseable BDX Droid Bucket: Based on the incredibly popular droids, this popcorn bucket features a front-loading hatch for easy access, fully poseable arms and legs (allowing him to stand tall or go into “sleep mode”), and eyes that light up with solid or blinking patterns.

- The Aurebesh Collection: A unique new apparel lineup available now on Batuu. It balances a retro, iconic Star Wars logo with stylized Aurebesh undertones, giving it a look exclusive to Black Spire Outpost.
- Batuu Travel Bag: A perfect mid-sized travel pack designed to look like an authentic souvenir you picked up while visiting the outpost, without being too bulky to carry around the park.
- Exclusive Movie Pins: Special Mandalorian and Grogu pins arriving just in time for the park’s “Kids Rule” summer events.
Interactive Toys & Collectibles
- Talking Mandalorian Figure: A new motion-activated figure that says his iconic phrase, “This is the way”.
- Anarchic Little Droid Toy: A chaotic, talking, and blinking little droid figure. AJ teased that guests will see many of his “droid cousins” getting into major shenanigans throughout the new movie.
