On Friday, May 22, 2026, the world will get a brand new Star Wars film with The Mandalorian and Grogu. With the opening of this film in theaters, there will also be a new update of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This new version adds new gameplay, new destinations, and even new characters to the attraction. With these new additions comes a whole lot of fun to be experienced by crews as they pilot the fastest hunk of junk throughout the galaxy far, far away!

The new characters are obviously Mando himself and Grogu. The new gameplay now allows crew members much more interactivity as they fly the Falcon. Every role matters in this new version. This is particularly true for the Engineer role, one that previously was not as exciting. Now, Engineers have the job of keeping Grogu happy and also determining the destination for the Millennium Falcon as it makes the jump into hyperspace from Tatooine!

The new version of the attraction seems smoother, more adventurous, and incredibly relevant to the Star Wars universe that is currently playing out on screens and in the parks. It includes The Mandalorian theme, along with other classic Star Wars music, during this adventure. It visits destinations that fans of the original three movies will recognize. It is a whole lot of fun and a major upgrade from the original version of this attraction.

During the Kids Rule Summer media event at the Disneyland Resort, Daps Magic had the opportunity to experience the new version of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run with Mandalorian and Grogu. The team went on this attraction multiple times with the goal of capturing each version of the attraction. This includes a version that isn’t publicized. Below is a look at the four different destinations that guests can fly to on the Millennium Falcon: Bespin, Coruscant, and Endor. There is also a special version of the attraction as well.
