Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities Refurbishment at Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities Closes at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Ahead of Timeline Expansion

Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is closed for a few days of refurbishment at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The shop is a popular one with Star Wars fans, with some fantastic merchandise. It also has some really fun details and “antiquities” to check out when visiting. On top of that, Dok-Ondar can also be seen hard at work in the corner. The closure of this store comes ahead of the timeline expansion of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. This will see more stories and characters coming to Batuu, starting officially on April 29th.

Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on Monday morning and took the following photos of Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. While there isn’t much to be seen of this refurbishment beyond a closed door, there is also a sign on the door that says:

Acquiring artifacts

Will return to Black Spire Outpost Soon!

According to the Disneyland website, this closure will be a short one. It has the shop open on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. If this is the case, that means the refurbishment will just be taking place today and tomorrow. It is very possible that this is to allow for the addition of story elements that connect with the expanded timeline of Galaxy’s Edge. The expanded timeline will officially debut to the public on April 29th. For guests attending Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite on the evening of the 28th, they will also get to experience the expanded timeline for the first time.
