Cabin #7592 aboard the Disney Wonder is a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom. It has a split bathroom with a tub, a queen-sized bed (or two twin beds), and a single convertible sofa. There is also a small desk with a seat in front of a mirror. There is also a television, plenty of closet space, a safe, a hairdryer, a phone, and individual climate control. It also has a lovely verandah with two chairs and a side table. This room can accommodate up to four people.
On April 20th, Daps Magic was hosted by the Disney Cruise Line on a four-night cruise aboard the Disney Wonder. This cruise included a day at sea with stops at Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. Below is a tour of Stateroom #7592, followed by a review of this cabin.

Cabin #7592 Review
Split Bathrooms and Closet
Cabin #7592 is a surprisingly comfortable place to stay with plenty of storage space. Initially, walking into the room, I was struck by the split bathroom and closet on my left and right. As I explored these spaces, I was impressed with how well thought-out they were. There was more than enough space for us to store our clothing and jackets. The split bathroom concept was ingenious, especially for families. The first bathroom door included a toilet and sink. The second included a shower/tub and another sink. This allows for multiple people to get ready for the day/evening in a very functional way.
Sleeping Area
The next thing I noticed in the room was the bed. While the walk around the bed was tighter than in some other cruises I’ve been in, it was still quite comfortable. The bed itself was comfortable, and I slept each night soundly. I also liked all of the space underneath the bed. It provided more than enough room for suitcases (could easily fit a family of four’s luggage) and shoes. On the verandah side of the bed, there was a curtain that could be pulled to divide the cabin in half. This also seemed like a great idea for families with kids as well.
Living Area
Closest to the verandah is the living area of the cabin. This includes a couch that can turn into a bed, a small coffee table, a desk/makeup area with a small seat and mirror, and the television. This was a comfortable area that was enjoyable that we enjoyed several times. I also used the desk for working each day (yes, I work on cruises). I will say, the TV was perfect for us, but it might be considered small for some people. It is smaller than other cruises. We mostly used the television for the Disney music that was playing while we watched the bridge cam. It was lovely!
Verandah
The verandah was very lovely. The chairs were comfortable, and it was just the right size for the two of us. We enjoyed sitting on it multiple times throughout the cruise and enjoyed watching the world drift by. It really only fits two people comfortably, but if you had adjoining cabins with family or friends, you could have the barrier opened, it looked like.
Decor
The decor on board the Disney Wonder was very nautical, and I loved it. Some specialty gifts had been given to us as well, which just added to the nautical vibe. I loved the blue and white color scheme that was coupled with some classic Disney photos throughout the cabin. These photos, including Marc Davis’ concept art for Pirates of the Caribbean, were nautically themed one way or another. The theme continued into the restroom(s) with its tiles. After having sailed aboard multiple Princess, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival cruises, this might have been my favorite room in terms of decoration to date. It really felt right for being on board a ship and made for a relaxing place to return and relax after enjoying the other offerings aboard the ship.

Final Thoughts
Boarding the Disney Wonder, I had no clue what to expect in many different ways. Reading, watching videos, and having conversations about the Disney Cruise Line through the years simply doesn’t do justice to these ships. In many ways, it is the same for many Disney offerings. You just need to experience them to really understand what is being offered. From the moment we boarded the Disney Wonder to the moment we departed, the ship was packed with Disney magic. The room was no exception. It was subtle Disney magic that was accentuated by the special gifts and excellent service from the room steward and the rest of the crew. Perhaps the best thing I can say about this room and this cruise is how quickly we realized we missed it after disembarking. There have been only a few times in my life when nostalgia hit so fast.
While we were on our cruise, it was announced that the Disney Cruise Line and San Diego had signed an agreement that will keep Disney sailing out of San Diego through at least 2031. This is a lovely thing to know as I look back fondly at my time aboard the Disney Wonder and dream about making the trek down to San Diego again someday to sail away with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and the rest of the incredible crew of the Disney Wonder. I take my hat off to the Disney Wonder and this magical experience.
