Disney’s live-action version of Moana will soon be sailing to screens in people’s homes. Today, Disney announced the release dates for digital downloads and physical discs. This will allow fans to enjoy this film from the comfort of their own homes. Moana will be released on premium digital platforms first on September 8, 2026. This will include Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango. It will then be released on physical disc media on October 6, 2026. This will include 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD.
The film will also be available on October 6th as a part of a 4K UHD SteelBook release. This will include special packaging that features Dwayne Johnson as the shape-shifting demigod Maui along with breakout star Catherine Lagaʻaia as the fearless wayfinder Moana. They will be joined by Moana’s pet pig, Pua, and her ever-popular rooster, Heihei.
There will also be a release of all three of Moana’s incredible adventures that will be available for purchase in one 3-Movie Collection. This will allow fans to be able to watch Disney’s live-action Moana along with Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana and Moana 2 in digital bundles on September 8 and DVD bundles on October 6.
