There are a lot of exciting things happening at Disneyland Paris, particularly in the soon-to-be Disney Adventure World. When this second gate officially re-opens in 2026 with its new name, its footprint will be almost twice the size of what it was as Walt Disney Studios park. While the park remains open during this transformation, there are a lot of exciting things to look forward to!
As work continues on the future Disney Adventure World, Disneyland Paris provided a progress report on a big part of the expansion of this park. This is where a future Up-themed attraction will be found, along with an area and attraction inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Lion King.

As can be seen by a picture that was released by Disneyland Paris, both Adventure Way and World of Frozen are beginning to take shape! In fact, Imagineers are currently putting finishing touches on the North Mountain at World of Frozen. To build this structure, nearly 400 tons of metal were utilized. It was then covered with sculpted concrete before being painted by hand. Currently, Imagineers are also putting together decor and programming state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics characters that are inside the Frozen Ever After attraction.

Adventure Way is beginning to take shape as well. The themed gardens will include over 1,000 trees, 100,000 shrubs, and oversized statues of Woody and Jessie in Toy Story Garden. Over at Raiponce Tangled Spin, the ride vehicles that are inspired by the boats in the floating lantern scene in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Tangled have arrived. Today, it was announced by Disney that Mandy Moore, the original Rapunzel voice actor for Tangled, will reprise her role in a variety of recorded announcements that are heard by guests experiencing the attraction.
There will be many more exciting things to discover when Adventure Way and World of Frozen open with Disney Adventure World in 2026. What do you think of what you are seeing so far? What are you most excited about? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
