On this day in 1998, the Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Halloweentown’ debuted. Thirteen-year-old Marnie learns that she comes from a line of secret witches and that she is a witch too. She must help her grandmother save the magical Halloweentown from evil curses and warlocks. The film was largely set in real-life St. Helens, Oregon. The town welcomes tourists to its October-long Spirit of Halloweentown event where they recreate some of the sets!
