The spring of 2024 will be a fun one for anyone who loves the Disneyland Resort entertainment. This spring will see plenty of entertainment offerings coming to the Disneyland Resort. This includes both fan-favorite parades and also nighttime spectaculars. Below is a look at the exciting entertainment lineup that will be coming to Disneyland Resort in the spring of 2024.
Parades
Magic Happens
February 2, 2024
Mickey Mouse and friends will once again be calling all dreamers to once again see some favorite Disney and Pixar stories come to life along the parade route at Disneyland. This energetic parade will be returning to Disneyland Park on February 2, 2024.
Magic Happens originally debuted at the Disneyland Resort on February 28, 2020. It continued to delight guests until March 13, 2020, when it closed due to the pandemic. It made a very welcome return to The Happiest Place on Earth! on February 26, 2023. It played throughout the year before ending its run this fall to make way for A Christmas Fantasy Parade.
Better Together – A Pixar Pals Celebration!
April 26, 2024
As part of Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort in 2024, Better Together – A Pixar Pals Celebration! will be a new parade that will bring the stories and friends created by Pixar Animation Studios through the years. Concept art for the parade shows Mei from Pixar’s Turning Red in her giant red panda form along with some other characters from the film, including the boy band 4*TOWN. It will also include the iconic Pixar Lamp with dancers leading the way.
Nighttime Spectaculars
At night, Disney magic lights up the darkness as nighttime spectaculars create incredible experiences for guests at the Disneyland Resort. There will be multiple nighttime spectaculars to be enjoyed by guests in early 2024.
Mickey’s Mix Magic
January 8 – March 21 and April 15 – 25, 2024
Mickey’s Mix Magic, the upbeat celebration of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, first debuted at the Disneyland Resort in 2019. This was for the 90th birthday of Mickey and Minnie during the Get Your Ears On Celebration. It became an immediate favorite for Disney fans and often during this show, people can be seen dancing to the beat. This nighttime spectacular will be returning first on January 8th and be presented through March 21st. It will return on April 15th and continue through the 25th later in the spring. It should be noted that while there will be a full projection show presented every night for Mickey’s Mix Magic, the fireworks will only be added on select nights. Check the Disneyland App on the day you visit to see what is being offered.
Wondrous Journeys
March 22 – April 14, 2024
Wondrous Journeys debuted earlier this year at the Disneyland Resort as part of the 100th anniversary celebration of The Walt Disney Company. This show is billed as “an epic adventure through 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios.” It includes projections, fireworks, effects, and a collection of incredible Disney music. It also has the Blue Fairy and Baymax flying over Sleeping Beauty castle. This nighttime spectacular will return to Disneyland Park on March 22 and continue to be presented nightly with fireworks through April 14, 2024.

Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular
April 26 – August 4, 2024
Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular will be lighting up the skies over Disneyland starting on April 26. It will continue through August 4th. This show is making its return to the Disneyland Resort after first debuting in 2018 as a part of that year’s Pixar Fest. The return of this Nighttime Spectacular will see it getting some updates as it continues to celebrate the journey of friendship. The show will include fireworks on select nights. Be sure to check the Disneyland App to see if this will be offered as a projection-only show or include fireworks.
Fantasmic!
May 24, 2024
The spring of 2024 will also allow guests to once again see the night come to life along the Rivers of America as Mickey Mouse’s imagination comes to life. This beloved show will be returning to the Disneyland Park on May 24, 2024. When Fantasmic! returns, Peter Pan will again be a part of the show as Pixie Dust allows him to fly around the Columbia as he battles Captain Hook. There will also be a new battle scene between Mickey Mouse and Maleficent.
Other Entertainment
There are plenty of other entertainment offerings to be enjoyed while visiting the Disneyland Resort. This includes exciting moments as Spider-Man flies through the skies over Avengers Campus or charming jazz that can be found on Main Street, USA.
