The Hatbox Ghost has materialized at the Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World Resort. This iconic character can now be found haunting the Endless Hallway as guests float by on their Doom Buggies. The following photos and video were released by Walt Disney World Resort showing this legendary ghost appearance at the attraction in Liberty Square.
The Hatbox Ghost originally appeared at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in 1969 for a very brief time. He then disappeared for decades and became the stuff of legends. He made his triumphant return in 2015 to Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion. In 2022 Disney announced that the Hatbox Ghost would be haunting the Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion in 2023. Earlier this year it was announced that the Hatbox Ghost would be arriving in Endless Hallway scene, which he now has. The Hatbox Ghost also held a prominent role in the Haunted Mansion movie earlier this year, which is now on Disney+.
