Disney revealed a first look of the Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs from the World of Frozen today. This new attraction will be arriving in Hong Kong Disneyland at some point in the second half of 2023. The following was posted on Disney Parks’ social media:

We’re thrilled to share a #FirstLookFromHKDL of Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs at #WorldOfFrozen! The FIRST Frozen-themed coaster ride, soon you will be able to embark on a scenic ride designed and built by Wandering Oaken himself at Hong Kong Disneyland.
This was followed by a second post that said:
The ride will be powered by his buddies Olaf and Sven as they work together to pull the sleighs to the top of the lift hill. Who else can’t wait to experience Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs when the gates finally open in the second half of 2023?
Walt Disney Imagineering and also Hong Kong Disneyland Managing Director Michael Moriarty also shared a reel showing the attraction being tested:
Recently our Walt Disney Imagineering project team members and cast members at @hkdisneyland were among the very first people to ride Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, an exclusive attraction opening in the second half of this year at World of Frozen in Hong Kong. An exact opening date for the attraction has not been announced yet. It is just said to be opening in the second half of 2023. The posts that were shared today showed that the ride vehicles are made to look like sleighs and also some glimpses of the attraction and loading area were also shown.
World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland
Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs will be a part of the new World of Frozen that is being built at Hong Kong Disneyland. An update that was shared earlier this year gave a look at the land and also the other attraction in it, Frozen Ever After. Amanda Chiu, Senior Producer, Walt Disney Imagineering, shared about the expansion saying, “World of Frozen prides itself as the park’s largest expansion and the world’s first Frozen-themed land that will be home to two new attractions, namely Frozen Ever After and the first-of-its-kind Frozen-themed family-friendly roller coaster Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, a quick-service restaurant and other merchandise outlets.”
“In this time of happily-ever-after, peace and prosperity have returned to the kingdom of Arendelle, guests are invited from near and far to take part in this joyous celebration on Summer Snow Day,” said Michel Den Dulk, Executive Creative Director for Walt Disney Imagineering.
