In honor of the 20th anniversary of Finding Nemo, D23 has announced a special event at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA to commemorate the milestone.
D23 Beyond the Sea: 20 Years of Finding Nemo will begin with checkin starting at 4:45 PM and then grab their seats in the theater. This will be followed by a presentation in the Honda Pacific Visions Theater about the real-life fish seen in the film. This will be hosted by the Aquarium of the Pacific animal care team. Following the presentation, a screening of Finding Nemo will be shown. Following the movie, guests will be able to head to the main halls for private aquarium access where they can explore the Aquarium’s indoor exhibits until 9:30 PM.
Café Scuba and Blue Whale Café Coffee Cart, as well as the Pacific Collections Gift Store, will be open for guests to make purchases after the movie finishes.
This special event is being offered on both April 2 and April 3, 2023 and is available for all D23 members to attend. Prices for the event are:
- General Member: $75 (+$7 Processing Fee) per ticket
- Gold Member: $50 (+$7 Processing Fee) per ticket
- Parking at the Aquarium is $8 with validation

- Educational presentation from Aquarium of the Pacific Animal Experts
- Screening of Pixar’s Finding Nemo

Official details:
- D23 Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to three (3) guests. Each attendee must have a ticket in their possession for entry.
- There are a limited number of tickets available. D23 Members will be required to enter their D23 membership login details when purchasing tickets. D23 Members who do not bring their membership card and tickets may not be admitted to the event. Membership card may be a physical card or a digital membership card found in the D23 App.
- Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a Guest 18 years of age or older to attend this D23 event.
- Ticketed Members and guests who do not attend the event forfeit their place, as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present or guests will not gain admittance to the event.
- All D23 Events are subject to change without notice. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds, and tickets are not transferable.
- Video or audio recording of any kind will not be permitted during the presentation and screening.
