Disney’s Strange World is set to be released on Digital Download, Blu-Ray, and DVD in the coming weeks and months. Today it was announced that animated film will be available for Digital Download on December 23, 2022. Following this release, the movie will arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD on February 14, 2023.
The release of Strange World on home entertainment formats will include multiple bonus features including how scenes were created for the movie, the inspiration of science on the movie, the creatures found in the movie, a look at the character and references, and also outtakes. Deleted scenes will also be included with the bonus features.

BURBANK, CA (December 14, 2022) – Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 61st animated feature Strange World will soon be available to audiences to enjoy at home with never-before-seen bonus features and deleted scenes. The “stunning” (Tracy Brown, Los Angeles Times) family adventure arrives on all major digital platforms this holiday season on December 23 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD February 14. Strange World will also be available to Disney+ subscribers starting on December 23.
Strange World introduces a legendary family of explorers, the Clades, as they attempt to navigate an uncharted, treacherous land alongside a motley crew that includes a mischievous blob called Splat; Legend, the family dog; and a slew of ravenous creatures.
