Mickey Mouse is Joined by The Muppets and More as Disney Merriest Nites After Hours Event Comes to Disneyland

Today Disneyland has announced another way to celebrate the merriest season of them all. Disney Merriest Nites will be a special celebration hosted by Mickey Mouse and friends. There will be five of these themed parties offered throughout November and December. Each will require the purchase of an extra ticket.

Disney Merriest Nites will be offered on November 11, November 16, November 30, December 7, and December 9. Tickets will be available starting on September 14th no earlier than 9 AM PDT at Disneyland.com and the Disneyland app. Ticket prices for this event start at $165.

Mickey Mouse will be the host of the party and welcome guests to Main Street, USA with a Victorian flair. Also, there will be Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and a few of their friends as well! They will be traveling in a special coach with Christmas carols and of course some Muppet antics… and chickens! There will be some other fun character experiences to see as well:

  • New Orleans Square will find Princess Tiana ringing in the season with a bayou-inspired celebration.
  • Frontierland will have Miguel from Disney and Pixar’s Coco will be wishing everyone Feliz Navidad and dancing the night away with a fun fiesta.
  • Adventureland will host Lilo & Stitch.
  • Fantasyland will host Elsa for a wintertime celebration.
  • Tomorrowland will have Buzz Lightyear celebrating the spirit of the season in Tomorrowland.

There will be “enhanced entertainment” Disney promises for the event. This includes themed photo backdrops and character sightings, and themed specialty food and beverage offerings throughout the event. There will also be select attractions open for this ticketed event.*

It wouldn’t be a holiday party at Disneyland without getting to experience some of the specific holiday offerings at the park. This includes it’s a small world Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday. The party will also include a special presentation of A Christmas Fantasy Parade.** With the price of the ticket, unlimited PhotoPass digital downloads*** from the night will be made available. With all of the holiday backdrops, it’s a perfect opportunity to get some holiday photos. In fact, costumes are even encouraged for this event.
