Today the future of what was formerly known as the Disneyland Annual Pass program was revealed with the details that were shared about the Magic Key program. However, Disneyland wasn’t the only domestic Disney theme park making news. Along with the news about the Magic Key, it was also shared that new pass sales will be returning to Walt Disney World Resort.
In the Disney Parks Blog post about the Magic Key program, the return of Annual Pass sales to Walt Disney World Resort was confirmed to be happening before the start of the 50th-Anniversary celebration of the resort. The World’s Most Magical Celebration will begin at Walt Disney World Resort on October 1, 2021.
Until this announcement, those who did not have a Walt Disney World Annual Pass or who had let their pass lapse were unable to purchase a pass. However, Walt Disney World Resort has still had Annual Passholders in its parks as it was allowing renewals for passes.
While details weren’t released about the upcoming Annual Pass sales for Walt Disney World Resort, it was promised that details are coming sometime this month. DAPS MAGIC will continue to follow this story and provide updates as they become available.
