On August 3, 2021, Disney released details about the new Magic Key program that replaces the Disneyland Annual Passholder program that had been at the Disneyland Resort for decades. This new program has many similarities and also some differences from the old program. How to Use Magic Key

1. Check Magic Key access calendar for blockout dates and reservation availability.
2. Make Reservation by logging into Disneyland account (and make sure Magic Key is linked to your account!) and visiting the Park Reservations page on Disneyland.com.
3. Review and confirm visit. This includes providing an email where confirmation will be sent. Be prepared to show Magic Key pass in Disneyland app on the day of your reservation and arrival.

There are several benefits associated with being a Magic Key holder. They include:

• Magic Key terrace: a re-imagined reservation-based lounge just for Magic Key holders and their friends and family
• Magic Key Holder Month: a month-long celebration of Magic Key holders
• Special Experiences & Collectibles: access exciting, unique experiences and collectible keepsakes designed with you in mind—including special offerings during festivals!
• First Access Opportunities: be among the first to have the opportunity to access exciting new offerings at the Disneyland Resort throughout the year, including select new merchandise collections

• Magic Key Merchandise, Novelties, Menu Items and More: Show your Magic Key pride! Opportunity to purchase Magic Key holder-themed popcorn buckets, sippers and menu items throughout the year.
• Magic Key Disney PhotoPass Opportunities: enjoy special photo spots and other opportunities sprinkled in throughout the year.
• Magic Key embroidery: special options available for Magic Key holders at select locations in the parks

Magic Key Details of Note

• Magic Key holders must present their valid Magic Key pass for purchases to receive applicable benefits and discounts. It is possible that identification may also be required.
• Magic Key benefits and discounts are only valid at select locations with specific restrictions and exclusions. They may or may not be offered at third-party locations. Check with individual locations for specific benefits and discounts.
• Benefits of Magic Key pass are not transferrable and are only for personal use only.
• Magic Key pass may not be used for commercial purposes or for the benefit of others. This includes purchasing merchandise with the intent of reselling merchandise. It also includes sharing benefits with others who aren’t the Magic Key holder.

Magic Key Payment Plan

There is a monthly payment plan available for Magic Key holders from California. California residents will pay a $179 down payment and then the remainder will be divided throughout the year for the monthly payments. Full details about prices and monthly payments can be found here.
