Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! Each week the DISNEY Reporter takes a look at the top five stories from Disney and geekdom as covered on DAPS MAGIC. This week there are quite a few stories from the movies and also from Disneyland.
In the movies, Black Widow is now in theaters and has the strongest opening of any movie since theaters reopened after the pandemic. It is projected to garner almost $90 million in the box office. What did you think of it? Read DAPS MAGIC’s review and see if you agree with it. Also this week in movie news, the first teaser trailer was released for Encanto. This is the newest movie from Walt Disney Animation Studios and includes a song by Lin-Manuel Miranda. What did you think of it?
There was quite a lot of news that came of the Disneyland Resort this week. First off, there is a new 3-day Ticket that is already for sale for California residents. This deal is available through September 30th. This weekend the Jungle Cruise also began a soft opening ahead of its official opening on July 16, 2021. DAPS MAGIC has video and interviews about the return of this beloved attraction. Finally, Halloween Time is returning to the Disneyland Resort. With it, the Oogie Boogie Bash will be returning as well!
