Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! Each week, the top five Disney and geek headlines are shared by Mr. DAPs as reported by DAPS MAGIC. This week, there were a lot of things going on to choose from.
First off, with the arrival of Marvel Studios’ Eternals in theaters, Sersie, Kingo, and Phastos also are now appearing at Disney California Adventure in Avengers Campus. In other news at the Disneyland Resort, a judge ruled this week that the resort is not bound by the ‘living wage’ measure that was passed by Anaheim.
In entertainment news, a trailer was released for The Book of Boba Fett. This comes a month and a half before the new Star Wars series arrives exclusively on Disney+ in December. Another project being worked on for Disney+ is Hocus Pocus 2. Production began on this film this week that is headed to Disney+ in the fall of 2022.
Finally, the arrival of Encanto in theaters is just weeks away. The world premiere this week gave the world a look at what the in-person Maribel looks like. This came as cast, crew, and dignitaries came together in Hollywood for a special celebration of this movie.
