Disney has completed the “EARidescent makeover” of Cinderella Castle ahead of the 50th-Anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World Resort. This milestone was marked with the installation of the 50th-Anniversary crest this morning. It was installed prominently on the front of the castle.
The castle has been given new multiple enhancements ahead of the beginning of The World’s Most Magical Celebration. This includes new coloring, gold bunting, sparkling embellishments, and other enhancements.
The new look for Cinderella Castle is just one of the multiple magical offerings coming to Walt Disney World Resort for the celebration this fall. In each of the parks, an icon will become a Beacon of Magic at night. In Magic Kingdom, this is Cinderella Castle. New nighttime spectaculars will also be offered. This includes Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom and Harmonious at EPCOT. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom the new daytime show Disney KiteTails will combine Disney music and magic with multiple kites. EPCOT will also see the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the France pavilion. Back at Magic Kingdom Mickey and the gang will be dressed in their new outfits for The World’s Most Magical Celebration. Also, throughout Walt Disney World Resort the Disney Fab 50 sculptures will add even more magic to the celebration. These are just some of the highlights of what will be happening for guests visiting during the 50th-Anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World Resort.
