Work continues at Walt Disney World Resort ahead of its 50th-anniversary celebration later this year. Magic is being added throughout the park ahead of October 1st when the Resort officially turns 50!
The Main Street Confectionery is getting a new look ahead of the 50th-anniversary. For The World’s Most Magical Celebration, the Main Street Confectionery will be getting a “fresh new look.” This will include an expanded layout that will give guests more room to shop. There will also be interactive opportunities for guests to be able to customize confections in new ways.
For this new look to happen, both the Main Street Confectionery and The Chapeau will close later this month. During this time, merchandise and goodies that would normally be found at those stores will be moved to other locations in the park. For those with a sweet tooth, many favorite treats from the Main Street Confectionery will be found at Emporium and Main Street Cinema. For those looking for hats, stop by Box Office Gifts at the Town Square Theater. It’s just across the street! For those looking for collectibles and artwork, Bonjour! Village Gifts will be the new destination for the time being.
