A Very Welcome 2021 – DISNEY Reporter

Welcome to the first edition of DISNEY Reporter in 2021 and Happy New Year! This week there are several Disney news stories to cover that span the globe!

Things start off in Florida at Walt Disney World with the return of Park Hopping. Then the news moves around the globe to Shanghai Disney Resort. On New Year’s Eve, during a firework spectacular, the Fifth Anniversary logo was revealed for the resort. This week the new Zootopia attraction in the Zootopia land celebrated topping out the highest point on the attraction. Heading back across the ocean to Hawaii, Aulani is getting MagicBands! Finally, Mr. Disneyland himself, Ron Dominguez, has passed away at the age of 85.

We hope you are having a great and safe new year! Let us know what you think the top story of the week is in the comments. We’ll see you in the parks!
