Diego Luna Provides Status Update on Cassian Andor Series

Diego Luna has provided an update on the status of Disney+’s Cassian Andor series. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Diego shared that he was currently in London filming the series.

The untitled Cassian Andor series is expected to be arriving on Disney+ sometime in 2021. It has Luna returning for the role he originated in Rogue One. He will also be joined by K-2S0, the droid that became instantly popular. Adria Arjona will also be on the show but it isn’t known yet at the time as who.  It will be a prequel to 2016’s Rogue One.

There has been much discussion about The Mandalorian and also the Kenobi series that are being created to tell more Star Wars stories on Disney+. However, the Cassian Andor series hasn’t been in the news as much. However, this may change with Luna and company now actively filming in London.
