Casting Announced for Cassian Andor Live-Action Series for Disney+

Cassian Andor

The Disney+ streaming service has been the place to go for Star Wars content! Earlier this year, Disney announced that there would be a live-action Cassian Andor series coming to the streaming service and now we know who has been cast for the series!

While we don’t know when this series will debut on the streaming service, but we know that we will see some familiar faces! Diego Luna will be returning to play the titular role and Genevieve O’Reilly will reprise her role from Rogue One as Mon Mothma! Some of the new faces we’ll see in the series include Stellan Skarsgard (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Good Will Hunting), Denise Gough (Collett, Angels in America) and Kyle Soller (Anna Karenina, The Titan).

Tony Gilroy, who co-wrote Rogue One, will also be making a return to help create this series! Gilroy will write, direct, and act as the showrunner for the series that takes place five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
