Welcome to another weekly edition of DISNEY Reporter! Each week we share the top five stories of the week from the Disney and geek communities as covered on DAPS MAGIC. This week, there is a lot of parks news so let’s get right at it.
First off, a Quinjet has landed at Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus! This brings the new area this much closer to the opening at an unknown date. Over at Walt Disney World Resort, booking flexibility has been extended through the end of the year. This comes as Deutsche Bank projects that attendance is down 80% at Walt Disney World Resort. Things are a bit different at Shanghai Disneyland though where the daily capacity is being raised to 50% as a part of its phased reopening.
Over at Disney+, Earth to Ned will be arriving on September 4th (the same day as Mulan). DAPS MAGIC has details and a trailer for this new show coming to the Disney streaming service from Jim Henson Studios.
