Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! Each week the DISNEY Reporter covers the top five Disney and geek stories from DAPS MAGIC! This week, there is a lot of ground to cover!
First off, Avengers Campus opened at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort last week. DAPS MAGIC was on hand for opening day to provide full coverage! What do you think about the attractions, characters, shows, food, and overall experience? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
Over at Walt Disney World Resort, face coverings will soon be optional both indoors and outdoors for fully vaccinated guests. This will not apply on Disney transportation. Guests who are not fully vaccinated will still be required to wear face coverings. Also at Magic Kingdom, more updates can now be seen on the Jungle Cruise as it continues to be refurbished with new elements and a new storyline.
Hong Kong Disneyland is getting a new Castle stage show at the end of the month. Called Follow Your Dreams, it will be a musical and magical experience that will encourage guests to follow their dreams. This daytime show debuts at Hong Kong Disneyland on June 30, 2021.
Finally, Shanghai Disney Resort is also getting a new stage show. This one will not be in front of the castle, though. Mickey’s Storybook Adventure will have Mickey and Goofy going on a musical adventure with Olaf after he accidentally gets pulled from his story. This show is being released as Shanghai Disney Resort celebrates its fifth anniversary!
