Walt Disney World Now Only Accepts New Reservations Starting July 1st

The Walt Disney World Resort is now only accepting new reservations starting on July 1, 2020. Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort website will discover that July 1st is the first day that they can currently book new reservations. All levels of hotels show no availability for the month of June.

Currently, Walt Disney World Resort is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. There is no known opening date for the resort. However, Disney Springs will begin opening on May 20.

Up until recently, guests were able to book rooms at Walt Disney World Resort starting on June 1st. It is unknown if these reservations are canceled. The Disneyland Resort also recently bumped new reservations back to July 1st. It is unknown if June reservations will be canceled at this point as well.

At this point, it isn’t known when most of the Disney Resorts will be reopening globally. However, Shanghai Disneyland will be reopening on May 11th. DAPS MAGIC will continue to cover these stories and offer updates as they become available.
