Soarin’ Over California will be returning to Disney California Adventure this June. The attraction, a Disney California Adventure original, takes guests on a tour through various parts of California accompanied by the beautiful score written by Jerry Goldsmith. The version of Soarin’ will be available to guests visiting the Disneyland Resort from June 1-30, 2019.
Throughout the attraction, guests get an aerial tour of California. This tour includes iconic Californian locations like San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, San Diego, Malibu, and more! All of it is shown in a giant 80-foot dome where the scenes are projected and simulate flight as the riders are hoisted up into it.
Soarin’ Over California opened at Disney California Adventure in 2001 and continued until 2016 when it was replaced by Soarin’ Around the World. This version of the attraction showcases many of the wonders of the world including the Matterhorn, Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, and more.
