100 years ago today, Winnie the Pooh was introduced to the world. A.A. Milne shared the first story of Winnie the Pooh with characters inspired by his son and a bear at the local zoo. A century later, Winnie the Pooh has grown more popular and beloved. This is particularly true due to the storytelling and magic that Disney has brought to this silly old bear.

On the 100th birthday of Winnie the Pooh, Disney shared some products and content that are inspired by the residents of The 100 Acre Wood. This includes a collection of cozy, collectible, and everyday finds that are sure to delight fans. There are cuddly companions, wardrobe staples, and home must-haves that are just some of the many offerings for Winnie the Pooh fans. They can bring a bit of The Hundred Acre Wood home with apparel, accessories, beauty, plush, books, and games from brands including Just Play, JAKKS Pacific, POP Mart, BoxLunch, Vera Bradley, and Disney Store. 

As the celebration continues throughout the month, more anniversary-inspired collaborations will come from Posh Peanut, Her Universe, Loungefly, The Crème Shop, and others.

For those who want to go on adventures on the page, Penguin Random House, Insight Editions, and DK will release new titles that revisit timeless stories, characters, and messages.

A new batch of Disney Jr’s short-form series has also been released. Playdate with Winnie the Pooh is now available to stream on Disney+. This is set in the outdoors of the Hundred Acre Wood. There are musical shorts that emphasize collaborative play and celebrate the joy of spending time with others.
