Ahead of the release of the live-action Moana on Disney+ on October 21, Disney and Heal the Bay are teaming up for a special community beach cleanup on Saturday, October 17. Heal the Bay is a nonprofict environment organization that is dedicated to making the coastal waters and watershed of Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy, and clean. Hundreds of volunteers and their families are invited to Santa Monica Beach to help keep the coast clean as they roll up their sleeves and take part in this Moana-themed cleanup. This will be followed by a special performance that will be led by Moana choreographer and associate producer Tiana Nonosina Liufau, photo opportunities, giveaways, and more.
