Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon

‘Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon’ Goes Vertical in Construction at Future Downtown Disney District Home

Fans have talked a lot about the future home of Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon, as the construction site has seemed to have little going on. This has changed recently. Workers could be seen on the site. Now, things have gone vertical for what will be the future home of this steakhouse in the Downtown Disney District. Coming from Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori, the new restaurant is taking the place of where Tortilla Joe’s used to be. Tortilla Joe’s closed in 2024.

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, the Daps Magic team passed through the Downtown Disney District and discovered that the Arthur & Songs project has gone vertical. Vertical supports can now be seen sticking up from behind the walls surrounding the construction site. The team took the following photos of this step forward.

These aren’t huge steps forward; however, the red colored supports do show that progress is being made. They also show where some of the supports are. This begins to give the very early ideas of where exactly the footprint for the future building will be. Yes, this is a baby step. However, it’s a baby step in the right direction!

The building won’t just house Arthur & Sons when it is completed. It will also be the home of Pearl’s Roadside BBQ. Arthur & Sons will be a classic steakhouse where guests will get to enjoy prime cuts of beef, chops, fresh seafood, salads, sandwiches, and a bourbon-focused craft cocktail menu. Pearl’s Roadside BBQ will be a casual, quick-service barbecue venue that will serve brisket, pulled pork, smoked turkey, and craft beers.

At this point, there isn’t an opening date or timeline that is known for either of these restaurants. What is known is that progress is being made towards barbecue eventually being available in the Downtown Disney District. When it opens, it will join other new restaurants in the Downtown Disney District that have arrived during its multi-year transformation. This has included Din Tai Fung, Parkside Market, and Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby.

What do you think about the progress being made on this location? Are you excited to eat barbecue in the Downtown Disney District? Are you more excited about Arthur and Sons or Pearls Roadside BBQ? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
