Yamaha Continues to be Main Supplier of Musical Instruments for the Disneyland Resort

The Yamaha Corporation of America will once again supply the Disneyland Resort with instruments. According to the Orange County Register, the two have been teaming up together since 2005.

The company supplies the resort in many aspects of instruments. From drums to pianos, over 400 instruments come from Yamaha.

Guests can see these instruments in live performances such as the drums used in Five and Dime, Mad T Party and Mickey’s Soundsational Parade. Even the All-American College Band uses instruments from Yamaha. In addition, Yamaha sponsors the Disney Performing Arts program which features a variety of youth groups and talents.

Tom Sumner, senior vice president, Yamaha Corporation of America said in a statement, “both companies share the love of music making, so we’re pleased that it will continue to grow thanks to this renewed agreement.”

The article goes on to say that financial records of the agreement between the two companies were not released.
